You guys need to pick it up around here. Havent been a post here in 5 days, id hate to se TheR/X shut it down. Im pretty much Busto again and just disgusted enough not to redeposit for awhile. Im so sick of doomswitchs. playin a lil at bodog while making a few bets but ill be done there soon as well im sure. Im just sick of staying broke and cashing for 30 bucks every fucking night.
been playing alot of live poker PPP.... doing pretty good locally... how you been doing online?
Played some at ARIA city center while at the vegas bash ...got 2nd in the sbr tourney im sure you read 1200$ ... won about 240$ at arai but it was full of local rocks.... some fish would swim in a few hrs.. was nice

poker is a sore subject for me cause I miss it so much. There used to be a home game or tournament in my area literally every single night. I was cashing like crazy and at one point was making daily trips to AC, making pretty good money. (not trying to beat my chest here or anything) but I am not really sure what happened...I could go on a 48 hour session like it was nothing...and than one day the flame just went out. I have no idea why or what...it wasn't even like a cold run of cards sent me in that direction...I just lost the desire/passion to play for some reason.....but..I am really close to getting back into the game but something is keeping me from it. not sure what.
but anyway..my question for you guys...PPP I see you often mentioning the 'doomswitch'. IMO I hated online poker...it was a joke...just completely different than live and the situations (runner runner runners) were just ridiculous..I have never saw shit like I did online ever live...but I never played long enough online to let it hurt my bankroll. Is it still like this? is there really such thing as a doomswitch or it being rigged?

i will never put another dime into an online site.....they want to tell you "well, you see so many more hands, that's why there's a lot of bullshit", but they can shove that right up their ass....see more stupid hands -- either against, for, or while sitting out -- in 3 hours than you will in a year playing live....poker stars is the worst, especially for a site that claims to be the biggest and the best.....if i was forced to play anywhere i would choose bodog, seem to enjoy their software more and the game moves faster there.....but i'm done playing with my money, hit the free rolls when i'm bored and trying to kill time, but that's it
I have or presently do subscribe to prolly 10 poker training sites. Thtas where winning players make videos of their wins and talk you through them hand by hand. I have RARELY seen them make a play that i wouldnt....1 huge differance...when they trap a guy all-in with AA vs J4 the hand is over...they are already talking about the next hand and how well they are doing...........When i trap someone with AA vs J4 i sit back and wait for the 23567 flop that i KNOW is coming.
I play bad i admit but still better than 95% ...that leaves 1 small problem....only 3% make money at this.
My daughter called me last night, wanting me to come to Vegas......i couldnt go to the Bash, i couldnt go to the WSOP and i cant go see her............WHY?????? Because in 5 years now of online poker i make approx $11 an hr..........hell i cant afford a decent meal much less a Vegas Vacacation.
All the years i joked about my ex going nuts and ending up in a straight jacket and if i dont stop soon Poker will do the same thing to me.............
